Housekeeping Executive communicates both internally within the Housekeeping team and with the wider hotel team, particularly the Front Desk team to ensure the guest experience is personalised and always exceeds expectation monitoring all VIP Stays. Working as a Housekeeping Executive you will ensure all team members (including Laundry) are trained and maintaining professional way of Clean, you will manage the day today team with the support of up to 10 to 15 team members, you will work a variety of shifts, including Days, Evening & Night Shifts, over Weekdays & Weekends including Bank Holidays.
Responsible for overall operation of housekeeping & laundry department
Responsible for preparing and maintaining departmental SOP
Providing regular training to staff and ensuring SOP and best practices are followed at all times
Manage room amenities and minibar inventory
Ensuring staff maintain to rotas & schedules
Work with management to set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
Inspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to standard
Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers
Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
Motivating the team with different activities and bring them up with team spirit.
Ensure machine are being operated as per manufacturer's instruction / handbook
Ensure high guest guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to use property management systems and timely update room data/ consumables
Cooperate and assist other departments wherever necessary
At least 5 years experience as Housekeeping Executive at a 4 or 5 star hotel
Experience in managing a team of staff and delivering training to staff
A housekeeping or relevant hospitality qualification /diploma is advantageous
Salary depending on experience - we offer competitive market rates
