The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. Your use of this Web Site constitutes your acceptance of the terms, conditions, and notices contained in this agreement, without modification. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.

This Agreement is only between Sky City Hotel and its Customer.. 


Any claim relating to this Agreement or the Materials shall by governed by the laws of Bangladesh, exclusive of the choice of law rules thereof. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior oral and written agreements. No failure or delay on the part of Sky City Hotel in exercising any right or remedy hereunder or enforcing the terms and conditions of this Agreement will operate as a waiver thereof. If any part or provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, unenforceable or void, then the remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect. Headings are for convenience only and not for use in interpretation of this Agreement. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

Use of the Web Site
Sky City Hotel reservations feature of this Web Site is provided solely to assist customers in determining the availability of travel-related goods and services and to make legitimate reservations and for no other purposes. You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this Web Site in accordance with all terms and conditions herein. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this Web Site. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household or party in using this Web Site is true and accurate and without limitation, or any false or fraudulent reservation. You agree that the reservations facilities of this Web Site shall be used only to make legitimate reservations or purchases for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorised to act. You understand that overuse or abuse of the reservation facilities of this Web Site may result in your being denied access to such facilities. For any reservations or other services for which fees may be charged, you agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with all rules and restrictions regarding availability of rates, products, or services. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of this Web Site.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

“Company” or “Hotel” or “we” means Sky City Hotel Dhaka


“Booking” means the booking for accommodation, functions and/or any other services or items made with us.


“Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.


“Terms”  or "Agreement" means these terms and conditions listed below.


“Websites” means or or any other website owned or operated by us relating to a Hotel from time to time.


“VAT” means value added tax.



2. Bookings

All room Bookings at the Hotel are subject to these Terms.

At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorise the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us.  We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking in certain circumstances or if the Booking includes the supply of certain items or services.  No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided.


3. Charges

The prices displayed on the Websites are an average per night (excluding VAT & Service Charge) until a final rate is selected.  Any meals such as breakfast are included only if specified on booking confirmation.  A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charge and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified.  Once a rate is selected on the Websites, the total for your requested stay shall be displayed in the reservation summary.  Prices shall be charged in USD or converted to the local BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) currency of the Hotel based on available market price or as determined by your debit or credit card. Any currency conversion facility is provided as an approximation tool only. The hotel reserves the right to charge a reasonable percentage to allow for daily fluctuations in foreign exchange prices.


The VAT breakdown shown is indicative based on the current rate of VAT, and the expected VAT treatment of the goods or services.  VAT will be payable at the prevailing rate applicable at the tax point of the invoice or Booking confirmation issued, and may change depending on the actual rate and the VAT treatment of the goods and services purchased at that date.

At current all rates are subject to 10% Service Charge and 15% VAT (as at Jan 2020)

Price lists for additional items, such as restaurant meals and room service, are on display at relevant locations within the Hotel and are available on request; please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff for information. This rate will also include a service charge element.

4. Check-in/ Check-out Requirements

As per local law and in the interests of security and fraud prevention, at the time of check-in we are duty bound to confirm the identity of all room guests. A valid form of photo id such as passport  (for foreign guests) / national identity card (NID acceptable for local guests) will be required. The information is required for each member of your party and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above. Photo ID is required for any short visits by family members or friends who need to be signed in with the Front Desk with their permission. 

A valid credit or debit card will also be required to be swiped in the presence of the cardholder as a deposit which will be fully refundable on check-out after deducting for any incidentals or damage. If guest or cardholder is not present a deposit will be charged as per payment authorisation form or booking terms.


Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check-in at any time from 2.00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival, or earlier (subject to availability). The Hotel reserves the right to charge up to a full night's charge for early check-ins. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card deposit or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11:59pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Hotel.  The Hotel has the right to re-let any rooms for which no advance payment has been received and are considered as non-secured reservation.

On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 12.00 noon (unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking).  Late check-out after this time can be requested but is subject to availability and Hotel reserves the right to charge half day's rate.

5. Payment

We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa; debit cards - Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron.

For advance purchase rates the card you booked with must be presented on arrival, along with the appropriate photo ID.

At the time of check-in we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, VAT,  service charge and any other optional charges e.g. return transfer or extra rollaway bed) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/debit card.  We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorisation by another valid form of payment, including cash or cheque.


During your stay the Hotel’s system will calculate the incidentals charged to your room on a daily basis.  If the cost of those incidentals exceed the authorisation taken on check-in, further authorisation will automatically be requested and if such authorisation is not available, we may request another method of settlement or a deposit to be provided, failing which we reserve the right to restrict access to your room.


All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel.  If the outstanding charges do not exceed the authorisation taken on check-in, the authorisation for the amount not utilised will be released, however, we cannot control how long it takes for your bank to effect such release.  If staying for multiple nights at the Hotel we may require you to make payment for any outstanding charges on a more frequent basis during your stay.


6. Cancellation Policy and No Shows

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked.  Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.


As standard, all rooms booked, paying full standard rate, through us directly can be cancelled or changed to a different date (subject to availability) providing prior written notice 72 hours ahead of check-in. If you wish to cancel or change your date then please email us on Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply after this time and we reserve the right to charge your credit/debit card for the full amount. The hotel does offer Premium Rate Plans with the added benefit of the shorter cancellation notice; such bookings will be clearly marked on the booking confirmation.


Unless specified, promotional rates, discounted rates, special deals or bookings where coupons / vouchers have been used are strictly non-refundable; in some cases management may allow date change subject to availability, but have no legal obligation to do so.  Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking.   Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.


7. Refund Policy

We don’t entertain any refund unless explicitly mentioned on your booking that it is refundable. In case of any double transactions or extra charge occurred then it will be refund on the basis of proof of documents. The refund can take up to need 7-10 days to be processed by our bank or payments service provider and return to customer end. Any money will be returned via the mode through which the payment was made.

8. Damage

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

9. Smoking Policy

The hotel has dedicated smoking zones on each floor which guests are welcome to use. Guests are not permitted to smoke in public areas.

We are unable to confirm any request of smoking / non-smoking and bed type preferences, which are subject to availability of the preferred room type at the time of check-in. 


In case of smoking in a non-smoking room or prohibited area, a surcharge of BDT. 2500/= will be applied upon check out.

10. Leisure

Guests may use our pool and fitness club throughout the duration of their stay.  A condition of using the facilities is that you must comply with the club’s rules, a copy of which is available at the club reception.  A discounted charge applies to guest using our Spa, Sauna, Steam & Jacuzzi, please enquire at the Hotel for further details. We also offer a range of massage treatments and other services at the Imperial Thai Spa; from time to time we offer promotional rates to our guest which are also provided at check-in or in literature materials inside guest's room. 


For pool use, children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may use the facilities until 6.00 p.m., except on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday when they can use the pool until 8.00 p.m.  Please note the pool is not supervised at all times. For health and safety reasons children under 16 are not permitted to use the gymnasium, sauna, spa bath or steam room.


At certain times, facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control.  We will attempt to keep all Hotel guests informed of these circumstances however this may not always be possible.  If any facility is a significant reason for your choice of Hotel, we would advise you to check directly with the Hotel in advance of arrival.


11. Parking

Use of car park is generally free however during busy periods we will not be able to guarantee a space.  Please contact the Hotel directly for more information. Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

12. Drivers & Maid

There is no separate provision for drivers and maid with any reservation We may be able arrange dormitory rooms for drivers or maid at extra charge - please enquire in advance.

13. Hotel Events

Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year some of our hotels may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel would be an intrusion on your break.  Please contact the Hotel directly in advance of your stay for further information.


14. Guest Behaviour

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety.  Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.  We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.

15. Children

All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the Hotel should be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.


Cots and extra beds are available at extra charge. However, these are limited and subject to availability.  Please check at the time of booking.


16. Pets

Guide dogs are accepted when accompanied by visually impaired guest with prior arrangement otherwise no pets are allowed at the Hotel. Please email

Telephone calls to our hotline as well as other recordings including CCTV footage is used to help us improve the service we offer you as well to enhance guest security.  All personal information stored and used by us is done so in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy


Your privacy is very important to Sky City Hotel. To help protect your privacy, we adhere to the following guidelines:

a. Sky City Web Site will explicitly ask when information is required that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when making reservations, joining any Sky City Hotel promotion program, or when requesting a specific service.  ("Personal Information")

b. Sky City Hotel Web Site uses your personal information to operate the site, provide services, and to inform you of new features, services, and products.


c. Sky City Hotel Web Site may also carefully select other companies to send you information about their products or services. ("Secondary Use")

d. If the Sky City Hotel Web Site intends to use Personal Information for a Secondary Use, we will provide you with the ability to decline this service.

e. Sky City Hotel Site may disclose Personal Information if required to do so by law, or in good-faith believe that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law or with legal process served on Sky City Hotel or the site; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Sky City Hotel or this site.

f. If at any time you believe that a Sky City Hotel Web Site has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail at and we will use all reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.


18. Force Majeure

The Company accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures. 


19. Limitation of Liability

The Company will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the Hotel, or loss to data through the use of wi-fi or other services provided.


The Company will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity (whether caused by the negligence of the Company, its employees, contractor or agents or otherwise). The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the charges received by it under the Contract.


Nothing contained in the Contract or in any other document referred to or incorporated in it shall be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by the Company’s negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The hotel may provide option for guest to make use of free Wi-fi internet access; our networks may have basic firewall security and therefore guest decision to use our network is at your own choice.

20. Personal And Non-commercial Use Limitation

This Web Site is for your personal use. The content of the Websites is the copyright of the Company, and may not be copied, modified, reproduced, published, distributed or amended for any other purpose without our prior written consent from

While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Websites, the Company does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserves the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the materials, information, programmes, policies or arrangements featured on the Websites at anytime without notice. The Company makes no commitment to update materials. In some cases generic photographic images may have been used to represent the general style of a particular service or hotel. 

As a condition of your use of this Web Site, you warrant to Sky City Hotel that you will not use this Web Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices.

The Websites is operated by a third party service provider appointed by the Company.

This Web Site may contain links to Web Sites operated by third parties other than Sky City Hotel. Such hyperlinks are provided for your convenience and reference only. Sky City Hotel does not control such Web Sites and is not responsible for their contents or accuracy. The inclusion of links to such Web Sites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such Web Sites or any association with them

22. Changes To This Agreement
Sky City Hotel may at any time in its sole discretion modify the terms of access to this Site.
